What we collect when you order from Sleep Station, why we need it, and who else sees it.

Sleep Station ("we") runs sleepstationeg.com. This page explains what personal information we collect, what we do with it, and the choices you have. We handle your data in line with Egypt's Personal Data Protection Law (No. 151 of 2020).
What we collect
When you place an order: your name, mobile number, delivery address and governorate, the products you ordered, and any note you leave for us. Email is optional for cash on delivery orders.
When you create an account: the same details, plus your saved addresses and a password. We never store the password itself, only a scrambled version of it that can't be turned back into the original.
When you pay by card: your card is entered on Paymob's secure payment page, not on our site. We never see or store your card number. Paymob tells us whether the payment went through.
While you browse: your cart is saved in your own browser so it's still there when you come back. We also set a few small cookies to remember your language and to keep you signed in. We don't use advertising cookies.
Why we use it
- To deliver your order and call or WhatsApp you to confirm it
- To handle returns, exchanges and questions about your order
- To show you your order history when you sign in
- To prevent fraud and fake orders
We only send you offers if you ask us to, and you can stop them at any time.
Who we share it with
- Delivery companies, who need your name, phone number and address to deliver
- Paymob, if you choose to pay by card
- Our hosting provider, which stores the site's data on our behalf
We don't sell your information, and we don't share it with anyone else unless the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep order records for as long as Egyptian tax and accounting rules require. If you delete your account, we remove your saved addresses and sign-in details, but keep the records of orders you already placed.
Your rights
You can ask us to show you the information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. Email info@sleepstationeg.com or call 01017159471, and we will reply within 30 days.
Children
The site is meant for adults. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we use your information, we will update this page and the date at the top.
