In an Egyptian summer, a sheet on its own is often too little once the AC is on, and a winter duvet is far too much. This quilt sits in between: light enough for summer, warm enough that you're not reaching for a blanket at 3 in the morning.
The filling is a compressed fibre layer, which helps the quilt keep its shape for longer than a standard quilt. The shell is white, so it works under any duvet cover.
